Thesis Statement: With the touch of magical realism and science actions, Sorry to Bother exposes capitalism, the good and the ugly in American society.
Watching this film has been a wonderful experience as it is a combination of comedy and satire, and it beautifully reflects the fearless dissection of identity politics and how the American society falls for the good or ugly side when it is confronted with horror. This brilliant film shows that people gather every night to watch a show called I Got the Sh*t Kicked Out of Me and embrace the corporate slavery as a lifestyle which is advertised as good one. This film revolves around a man who was forced to see the injustice around him and makes him pay attention to encounter the wrong doings of the American society. My thesis statement clearly involves the uncovering of the main idea of this film and how every character in this film reveals his clear face. It is obvious that people may have a different viewpoint than mine because not all the people think same or have same opinion. Some people may not agree with the wrongdoings of their society as they are not willing to see something other than good only. However, this analysis and synthesis will pay attention to every detail which will support my thesis statement.
My argument will include both analysis and synthesis in a way that it will provide significant information which is essential for this essay. This essay will gather all the puzzles that were left unsolved in this film and show how each element works together. I plan on using multiple scenes in the film such as the entry scene of day 1 at the office, rapping scene, and the one where Cash gets appreciation from his boss. These scenes will show the struggles of Americans on daily basis and these scenes will also incorporate the idea that reality is much more like these scenes. I plan on discussing the discomfort experienced by Cash and how he had to change his voice. Cash kept on working because he wanted to feel like an equal part of his workplace, and he wanted to achieve the goals he set for himself. I will reveal my ideas by using information from different sources and support my arguments. I will show how unfair the US economy is and how unfair the US society is because people have to prove themselves on the basis of their cast and creed.
